The creation applied on the wall of the Hungarian Geological Institute was revealed in 2004. It represents the façade of the Art Noveau building planned by Ödön Lechner. The creator, Teréz Szemereki, applied a new perspective on her work turning the beautiful patterns of the building into a bas-relief. The realization was supported by the then president of the Rotary Club Budapest – Budavár, László Kordos Dr, who was also the director of the Geological Institute at that time. The relief is made of fired ceramics, as well as the one at Szentendre. The funds were entirely raised by the Rotary Club Budapest – Budavár. The advantage of this relief is that it is located close to the National Institution of Blind and Partially Sighted, therefore more visually impaired has the chance to try it out.
